Hello, Wild Pretty Things!

Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday this year. If you work in an office, like I do, that doesn’t leave you much time to get ready before heading out for the night. Night Look

I got this slip dress at a thrift store and was so happy to have it in my life. I love how snug the fit is in the top of the dress and how it moves away from the body on the bottom. Better yet, I got this steal for $16! Love thrift store finds like this.

The night look was a no brainer – the dress is the show piece, the star. Just added a jacket for warmth. This pink coat is one I have had for a while and almost always wear on V-Day. Nude heels and this super cute mini bag complete the night time look.

Day Look

The day look can be a little more complicated – how do you dress down such a sexy piece for work? I decided to pair it with this super cute pink sweater. The sweater works because it covers the more revealing portion of the dress and will keep me warm in the freezing office.

Adding the belt allowed me to make the sweater a little more cropped which gives my body more shape. I paired the look with red tights to keep with the v-day spirit and these super comfy black heels.
