The perks of living in LA are that you can wear cute, girly dresses well into December and not feel like you’re turning into a Popsicle. When I saw this Free People dress I loved the floral print and the purple tulle detailing on the bottom of the dress. I was a little concerned that it would be too cutesy and make me look like I was 12 years old. I decided that I could figure out a way to make it less junior and more adult. I love a belt to define a waist line and, with the right belt, edge up a simple dress. I have about a million ways to tie a belt, but this is my typical go to.
I have gotten so much use from these Steve Madden wedges. They are so comfy and look amazing paired with pretty much anything. This time of year is the best time to find super cute wedges for amazing prices. I have linked some really cute options that are on huge sale right now. This necklace is something I purchased at a flea market and still remains one of my best finds. It’s a really eclectic piece mixed with different charms and chain detailing. I loved the rich burgundy color of this clutch paired with the light floral pattern on the dress.
On another note, I have had the worse cold for the least week. I have been pretty much been in bed under piles of blankets, drinking cup after cup of hot tea and watching Geordie Shore, which is my new favorite guilty pleasure. It is pretty much the British version of Jersey Shore, but way on a different level. I first saw this while I was traveling in Europe last year, but I totally forgot about it.
