Hello, Wild Pretty Things!
I used to always love the whole romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant thing for Valentines Days. However, after a few back-to-back years of disappointing, and expensive, dinners I’ve decided that I am no longer a fan. Now on Valentines Day, Brandon and I opt for something casual and save the ritz for the weekend before or after the 14th. Whether cooking a romantic dinner at home or headed to a movie – The casual date is the best option for V-Day.
I got this sweater from Express and can’t stop thinking about how BADLY I need this is the other two colors! The sweater is chenille – Which is totally trendy right now. The balloon sleeves are super cute + dramatic – They also look so cute pushed up your arm. The sweater is off the shoulder, which makes it effortlessly chic. Plus, it is SO SO comfy! You will not want to take this thing off.
I paired the sweater with this plaid mini skirt. I like the nod at a sexy school girl, while still being chic look I achieved. These over-the-knee boots are absolute perfection & would you keep you so warm on a chilly day. I always love a beret and the leather detailing on this one really tied the red with the rest of the look.
