Hello, Wild Pretty Things!
I am such a sucker for a 20’s-inspired, fringe dress. The early 1920’s is one of the most lavish and over the top time periods when it comes to fashion. Full hand beaded garments with jewel-encrusted headbands were top style. The booming economy pre the great depression was a time where many became wealthy off the stock market and the celebrated with excess – excessive drinking, partying, and excessively ornate fringe dresses. Lilac Fringe Dress
Today’s look I wore to Intrigue nightclub for my best friends bachelorette party. For the trip, we decided that we would do one night at a club – Which is about all I can handle now. While shopping for a party dress, I knew I wanted something that was fun to dance in that also offered a little sex appeal – we were in Las Vegas after all. Right away, hen I saw this dress I knew it was the one. I love that the fringe panels are all over the dress. This made the dress have amazing movement and was so fun to dance in. Even just walking through the casinos it would catch so much attention from the way it moved while we walked.
Underneath the fringe was the most beautiful lace fabric. Most of all, I really loved how this really delicate lace peek-a-boo’s through the fringe. The dress was pretty formfitting, but also very comfortable to wear. Nothing is worse than feeling like a sausage stuffed in a casing like some of the party dresses for Vegas. This fringe dress is currently on sale & under $36. I also found this lovely blush colored fringe dress that gives me all the heart eyes!
The accessories for this outfit are some of my favorite new pieces & items you will definitely be seeing again. I used this fun cage sphere bag for pretty much the entire weekend. It’s the perfect fun bag to add something special to any nighttime look. The bag is currently sold out, but I have found a few similar pieces that I would really like to add to my collection. Lastly, These shoes look exactly like the $1,000 Valentino heels but cost a fraction of the cost. ($20!) I was concerned that they wouldn’t be comfortable because I got them the day before we left and didn’t have a chance to break them in. But, I was pleasantly surprised that I managed to dance all night and remain totally comfortable in 4-inch heels.
I have linked some more fringe dress options below along with similar pieces from my look. You can shop the items by clicking on any of the images. This will take you to the products webpage for further details.
