Hello, Wild Pretty Things!

This was by far my favorite outfit I packed for Denver. On this particular day, we fully planned on going out to explore the city. Brandon is really into comic books (He even has a blog about them – My Comic Universe) so we went to this huge comic book warehouse & I filmed some segments for him. We stopped at the cutest bakery called The Rolling Pin Bakery. We grabbed a huge creme puff and a miniature silk pie with a latte (Of course) and headed back to the rental to relax for a few. The day before we went snowboarding and we were both really beat from the day – we ended up just hanging out until dinner time. Usually I love to explore a new city & I had so much planned, but we were just too tired to budge. So, now we have an excuse to go back to Denver.

I love the way wearing sparkles makes you feel! This look is more or less pretty casual, that is until the addition of this Nasty Gal sequined skirt. I ordered this skirt from Nasty Gal probably like a year ago & never wore it – SMH. I am the queen of buying things and inevitably donating them to charity with the tag still on. This piece I knew as different and I am so happy I was able to hang onto it. This one is sold out, but Nasty Gal has THIS gorgeous skit that is similar.

The weather was a little warmer on this day so THIS light sweater kept me perfectly warm. This sweater is currently marked down and only $18! The blush pink color is gorgeous for winter & will look lovely paired with light pieces for Spring. While it wasn’t as cold as the day before, it was still a pretty chilly day. I layered a black pair of Spanx tights with another purple patterned Betsey Johnson tights. This kept me so warm and made the tights super opaque.

My feelings exactly!! There is something so special about sequins- it’s sad people mostly leave them for night looks
